CGI International Ltd has been involved in clear fire glasses for over 15 years, initially in the UK with specially tempered glass. From experience, we know that even in a small territory like the UK, delivery times and logistics can be problematic. For an area the size of North America the problems are multiplied.

Pyroguard Clear Fire-Rated Glass uses 2 external faces of 1/8" float filled with a special resin which provides the following features:

  • 20/30 minute fire rating (no hose stream) for use in Steel and Wood doors, sidelites, transoms, borrowed lites and fire window frames.
  • Passes Positive Pressure test standards UL 10C, UBC 7-2 & UBC 7-4.
  • Tested by U.L. and Warnock Hersey.
  • Safety Rated to CPSC 16 CFR 1201 Category I (18" drop height) and ANSI Z97.1.
  • Temperature stable to 180 F without reaction.
  • For use internally and externally.
  • Clear, wireless and free from distortion.
  • Patterned options - 'Pyroguard Satin', 'Pyroguard Master' and 'Pyroguard Stippolyte' also available.
  • Can be cut from stock by normal laminated cutting methods.
  • Handy stock sizes 98" x 62", 5/16" thickness.
  • Price competitive.
  • Available throughout North America through Oldcastle Glass
